Abstract This study establishes a method for rapid detection of clonidine and cyproheptadine in foods animal origin. In order to obtain the best method, capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE), large volume sample stacking (LVSS), sweeping-micellar electrokinetic chromatography (sweeping-MEKC) were used respectively. The limits (LODs) by LVSS-CZE 0.028 ?g mL ?1 0.034 , those sweeping-MEKC 0.023 0.031 Compared with CZE two online pre-concentration technologies have greatly improved sensitivity achieved good enrichment results. However, compared system, LVSS system consumed longer time was affected actual matrix. proved be suitable real analysis. Under conditions, could well separated within 8 min linear relationships range 0.1–1.0 ( r 2 > 0.99) obtained. successfully applied determination animal-derived recoveries 82.3%–90.1% relative standard deviations (RSDs) less than 3.11%. is simple operate has great potential foods.
